The Legal Department of the Government of Dubai was established under Law No. 32 of 2008 as one of the government departments attached to His Highness at the Court of the Sovereign to provide various legal services to the Government and government agencies of the Emirate of Dubai. This includes overseeing all legal matters affecting the Government of Dubai and its institutions in order to keep pace with the economic, social and development progress of the Emirate of Dubai.
